In the canyons of Beverly Hills on a clear summer morning this July, I laid a vase of white and orange orchids on our extended table ready to welcome our guests. The sun shined so bright above on this increasingly warm day so that the water glistening on our koi pond's surface added an extra element of enchantment to our lush garden setting.
Our Rainbeau Mars Lifestyles Team, guest chefs and I had been busy in the kitchen for hours so much that the house filled with decadent aromas that greeted our guests at the door with a preview of the delicacies they were about to enjoy.You see, we had invited some of our favorite activists, influencers, tastemakers and celebrity guests to join us for an intimate brunch at my house in celebration of the eBook release of The 21 Day Superstar Cleanse!

It is a great belief and love I have for life that food has such a power to bring people together. Even more so when we collaborate on the ingredients, prepare the meal together, and share a table to eat them. Food, particularly plant-based, also connects us to the symbiosis between people and the environment, plants, soil, bees and all.
Bees are responsible for 1/3 of every bite of food we eat but are dying at a rate of 44%-60% per year, making environmental lifestyle choices like eating plant-based an imperative. In reverence, we recently installed a bee hive at my home and are dedicating a portion of proceeds from eBook sales to HoneyLove, a charity that is working to Save the Bees.
