Not familiar with Chakras but hearing a lot about them lately?

While journeying through the communities of yoga, holistic health and wellness this may sound like a buzzword that many people use to start a conversation about a person’s well-being, and a curiosity of what they mean may have lead you to find out more.

Here’s a quick guide into the meaning behind this divine wisdom others are talking about.

What is a Chakra?

A Chakra is described as an energy center in the body, located at different points of the spine which happen to align with natural biological energy centers of the spinal cord that regulate and maintain the nervous system.

Why are they all different colors?

Visually they are depicted as different colors to help someone looking purely at the physical alignment of rainbow spheres and notice that each chakra has a “home.”  Each sphere has a regular resting place in someones physical body on that person's body and in that person’s mind.  This rainbow helps people meditate on and visualize these centers of the body so they can recall each chakra’s unique message displayed clearly in the mind's eye.
